Gingrich the Newt

It seems he's back. And we had a request on our guestbook to post this as "a public service." So here you go!

Teenage Immigrant Welfare Mothers on Drugs

We Always Fight When We Drink Gin

(Austin Lounge Lizards)

This song was recorded in Tom's living room while we were rehearsing.* It's the song used on our new DVD "30 Years of Lost Luggage" as the credits are rolling. Since Darcie was unable to be at the 30th anniversary show at the Cactus Union Theater, we recorded this and "80 Hillbillies in a Haunted House."

Here's the audio.

*This recording and several others you hear - are live, one take, and have not had the final mastering treatment that the songs you hear from a released CD. If you're wondering why it's not as loud, or as polished, now you know the secret!

80 Hillbillies in a Haunted House

(Austin Lounge Lizards)

This was the other song we recorded in Tom's living room while we were rehearsing. There wasn't room on our new DVD "30 Years of Lost Luggage" for this one. Since Darcie was unable to be at the 30th anniversary show at the Cactus Union Theater, we recorded this and "We Always Fight When We Drink Gin" (which you can see and hear on the DVD).

Maybe we'll get the visual edited and it can be a video on it's own- time will tell!

Strange Noises in the Dark

(Austin Lounge Lizards)

Godforsaken Hellhole I Call Home

(Austin Lounge Lizards)

This is a newer recording with Darcie singing the lead. It's not released yet, nor a final mix.
